Christmas Market 2018

It's that time of year again and, we'll be gathering some of Malta's coolest and best
artisans and designers into one spot, for a one-stop Christmas shopping experience.

The market takes place in the Sliema shop Souvenirs That Don't Suck
(108, Triq Manwel Dimech), next to the Sliema Police Station. Supporting small businesses and local artisans
gives everyone a warm and fuzzy feeling, and makes for an ultra unique and beloved Christmas gift.

With these handpicked artists and vendors, there's definitely something for everyone!

Christmas Market Terms & Conditions

 

  1. Souvenirs That Don’t Suck will use full payment affected by the vendor for specific Christmas Market Facebook Ads.
  2.  Participation will only be accepted for the full weekend. No applications will be accepted for one day only.
  3. Souvenirs That Don’t Suck does not charge any commission on sales made by the vendors.
  4. Due to limited number of stalls the Organizer has a right to select the Participants based on submitted application form. Different weekend than requested might be offered along selection process.3.
  5. By filling the application form Vendor reserves the stall. Only paid stalls will be consider booked.
  6. Attendance fee of EUR 30.00 applies to full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and shall be paid no later than 15th of November.
  7. Location of vendors will be assigned by Souvenirs That Don’t Suck on a first come first served basis. The Shop’s decision is final.
  8. All display elements and furniture units provided by the vendor must be in line with the shop’s standards. Souvenirs That Don’t Suck reserve the right to ask you to remove any items not compatible to this requirement.
  9. Vendors may bring their own lamps/lighting/cash registers, however requests for access to power supply must to be specified at booking stage, no reservations will be accepted later. Extension Leads are to be provided by the vendor.
  10. Items may be brought into the shop or taken out using the main entrance, however, vehicles must be removed immediately upon un-loading/loading.
  11. Stalls are to be set up before opening times and must be ready for trading by 15mins before opening times and dismantled in the evenings. Packing up should not begin before closing times even if stallholders are sold out. In this case they must remain at the Christmas Market until closing and promote their establishment. No items are to be left in the shop - Management will not accept responsibility for any items lost or missing during setting up or dismantling.
  12. Stalls are to be attended to at all times by applicant or Representative. Souvenirs That Don’t Suck will not be responsible for any theft, loss or damage of items during  the Christmas Market. Stallholders are responsible for their own stall security and monies.
  13. Stallholders must ensure that the area is kept clean at all times and remove any spillage or garbage, especially at the end of the weekend.
  14. The vendor must be dressed in clean and suitably presentable clothing.
  15. The Establishment’s name should be clearly labeled and visible at all times.
  16. If claiming 'organic' or similar certification, a copy of the certificate and supporting documents must be displayed on your stall.
  17. Souvenirs That Don’t Suck is not responsible for any transaction entered into during the Christmas Market by the approved vendors.
  18. No refund will be for cancellations.
  19. By applying for the market I agree with all the terms & conditions including the below statements:
  20. I agree to sell only items that I mentioned in application form.
  21. The person/s named above will be responsible for my stall and in attendance during the Market’s opening hours.
  22. For Stalls selling Food & Beverage Items: I am aware of the Food Safety Act and its requirements and the weights and labelling regulations. The person responsible for the stall is in possession of a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  23. I confirm that I’m in line with all legal requirements pertaining to my establishment and to the sale of my items especially with regards to VAT.
  24.  I agree to adhere to the rules of the Christmas Market and to ensure that my representatives do likewise.
  25. I, declare that the information I have provided above is correct and that I accept the above Terms & Conditions.
